37 Million Expected To Travel Memorial Day Weekend Nassau County Begins Enhanced DWI Patrols
According to AAA, more than 37 million people are expected to travel more than 50 miles this Memorial Day Weekend. This comes as Nassau County Police and District Attorney will spend $400,000 on overtime for additional DWI patrols beginning this weekend and through the end of summer. Last Memorial Day (2014) Long Island Police Officers made 128 drunken-driving arrests.
